With over 11 years experience Derek is extremely well known throughout the UK for his professional yet informal guidance at wedding receptions, including civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.

Whatever the number of guests are invited Derek has officiated for as few as 40 and as many as 2500, his ability to quietly guide proceedings will allow everyone present to feel part of the Bride and Bridegrooms special day.

He will ensure that continuity and atmosphere are maintained from ceremony to wedding breakfast, through cutting of the cake, presentations, speeches and toasts.

On the day Derek’s colourful presence is the focus for all queries and unexpected changes occurring. His role is to ensure the day flows apparently effortlessly and successfully and that it is for the right reasons, a day to remember.
